Bitcoin Nomads was born from a passion for adventure and a deep love for Bitcoin. Our founder has always been captivated by the diverse cultures and landscapes he encounters on his travels. However, he often faced challenges with traditional banking and currency exchange, which sparked the idea of merging travel with Bitcoin's transformative potential. Our adventure began in Naivasha, where our founder organised our first camping trip. The goal was to find places that accept Bitcoin and to "orange pill" the locals. By the end of our trip, we successfully encouraged the hotel we were staying at to start accepting Bitcoin. This experience fueled our mission to educate others, fostering connections between travellers and local communities while celebrating the unique blend of travel and Bitcoin.
